Given the ubiquity and might of Facebook it makes sense to exploit their power. Just the viral nature of the beast argues for placing a store on a site, particularly when "friends" can "like" the site and then recommend a wine they've tasted personally. For this reason, using a Facebook Store to augment the live events seems a natural. A drop down menu might offer different price points allowing the buyer to choose the level of support.
